This project highlights the dramatic changes that a renovation project can make in an existing facility. It involved the complete renovation of an existing hotel and construction of new additions. The work resulted in conversion of the hotel into three separate, three story townhouse style buildings totaling 49,000 square feet, and a total of 64 apartment units. The former structure was a two story hotel.
The project included a complete interior and exterior renovation, and the addition of new third floor with extensions at all elevations. The façade was refinished with a cultured stone veneer façade and vinyl shake style siding. A new combination flat and rubber membrane roof with shingled mansard roof was constructed over all of the structures. The project also included extensive sitework, blasting of ledge for the new extensions, and all new utilities throughout.
