Picker Center School of International Affairs is associated with Columbia University, one of the top academic and research institutions in the world. The project involved the construction of new offices and a conference center. Many high end materials were used, including cherry paneling and millwork along with a audio visual set up screen and sound system. The finishes also included a special pinged stainless steel trim in the conference room, reception area desk top, and metal front entry door trim and side panels. The entrance floor included terrazzo tiles and large slabs that were saw tooth grooved and heat treated for a special affect. The entrance storefront included stainless steel framing and 3 different types of textured glass.
